BREAKING NEWS: IAW trade fair in Cologne postponed. New date to be announced shortly
Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus in Europe and the resulting concerns for the health of exhibitors and visitors, the trade fair management team has decided to postpone the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW), which was scheduled to take place at the Cologne Exhibition Center from 10 to 12 March. We cannot currently take the risk of staging the trade fair on the dates originally planned.
With numerous large events having already been postponed as a result of the assessment carried out by the German government task force and on the recommendation of the Robert Koch Institute, Nordwestdeutsche Messegesellschaft Bremen-Hannover mbH considers it its duty as the organizer of the IAW to act responsibly in this situation.
More information about the rescheduled date will be provided in the near future, depending on developments in the coronavirus outbreak. We plan to set a new date sometime between the end of April and mid-May. In view of the potential economic consequences for all those involved and China’s uncertain supply situation, IAW is a vital platform for securing the purchasing needs of the retail industry.
All registered exhibitors and visitors will be informed of the postponement, and tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
