Two decades of innovation: The 38th IAW trade fair opens its doors to buyers from all over the world
Unbeaten for 20 years: With consistently high visitor and exhibitor numbers, the 38th International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW) will welcome guests from all over the world to Cologne from March 11 to 13, 2025. In its two decades, the IAW has developed into the leading trade fair for promotional and imported goods and builds bridges between innovative exhibitors and buyers eager to place orders in the heart of Europe.
In its 38th edition, the IAW trade fair will once again present itself as an important, innovative and international trade platform: a total of 6,500 trade visitors and around 300 exhibitors from over 80 countries are expected at the Cologne trade fair center.
Visitors can look forward to attractive offers in a wide range of categories: from garden products and toys to drugstores and foodstuffs through to electronic products and e-commerce, the exhibitors at the IAW trade fair offer a broad and innovative product range. Especially in the current global political situation surrounding import tariffs and trade restrictions, it is this diversity and the typical IAW family atmosphere that helps the economy to remain innovative and strong.
The numerous first-time exhibitors play an interesting role here – this time there are almost 50 companies from 18 countries. Among them is the AVS Group, a Greek wholesale company specializing in the sale of outlet fashion. The company offers high-quality clothing and shoes from well-known brands, including stock, last year’s collections and sample collections.
Jasa Alimentación will also be exhibiting at IAW Spring 2025 for the first time. The Spanish company supplies the food service industry with fresh, frozen and long-life food. Jasa Alimentación’s sophisticated logistics system promises punctuality, precision and quality.
The Danish company Millarco International, also a first-time exhibitor, has been supplying tools, garden equipment and barbecue accessories to the Scandinavian DIY market since 1986. The wide product range of over 3,000 items and efficient logistics make Millarco a leading supplier in the DIY sector.
The IAW trade fair will be accompanied by a top-class supporting program in the E-Commerce Arena, which is being held for the 20th time to mark the 20th anniversary of the trade fair. The three-day stage programme of the E-Commerce Arena, which has been organized by RESTPOSTEN.de for many years, will present 20 speakers from the digital retail industry and provide practical tips on the e-commerce market. “We want to provide visitors with relevant specialist information. Visitors are otherwise very caught up in their business. Here they have the time to get the information condensed to the point at
,” says organizer Stefan Grimm.
The zentrada Forum at the start of the second day of the trade fair under the motto ‘Everything remains different – status and development from different perspectives – test your performance’ also promises interesting insights and practical examples from different retail levels.
ASIA PACIFIC SOURCING, which takes place parallel to IAW in Halls 7 and 8 and focuses on home, garden and leisure products from Asia with around 750 participating exhibitors, attracts more visitors to the trade fair city and offers unique synergies for buyers from the construction, garden and DIY markets, among others. Visitors can use the direct entrances between the exhibition halls and register for both trade fairs in advance.
